Approximately 318 KM from Hanoi. Sapa, in the Lao Cai province, lies in the north-western side of Vietnam. My sleeper bus ride experience was indeed a comfortable one (Hason Hai Van), thanks to Vietnam's ultra-modern highways.
They say the town is a bit touristy and I can understand why! With its magnificent landscape and fantastic culture - mind-blowing!
