#ULOG 514 - Daily Thoughts - 01 Nov 18 - Homesteading Today...

Good Morning, Steemians! :D

I feel like we had a productive morning, I did the dishes and laundry, vacuumed the whole main floor, washed the kitchen floor, played with puppies and grand-puppies, and took some pictures of our handsome boys Billy (1) and Joel (2) playing outside in the mud. :D Our son cleaned his room, changed the garbage and went around with the duster to get the cobwebs out of the corners. :D

My handsome husband did all his work outside around and in the barn, he did all the chores, filled in some of the area in front of the chicken coop and barn that got washed away over the past week, dug a bit of a trench at the back of our pond to help drain any excess water down through our side pasture instead of in front of the chicken run and barn. :D

The puppies and grand-puppies weren’t happy that they were banished to the front yard, but they don’t like the vacuum and just would have laid in the way while I was mopping waiting to trip me, so it was best for them to enjoy some fresh air. :D At least they got to have a nice “chat” with Princess (1), Candy (2), Belle (3), and Buddy (4) while they were out there. :D

Now its time to relax a bit before heading into the shower and getting ready to go into town for our friend’s funeral.

Our handsome grand-puppy Tiny (1) was tired after his escape and evasion practice last night, but his lovely sister Lady (2) was more than willing to play. :D

Princess had this pile of hay all to herself until Candy realized she had it and that it held a lot of chafe, then Candy alternated between Princess’s hay pile and the rest of the herd’s hay pile. :D

There was no sunshine here at all today so that means no sunset pictures to share tonight, sorry everyone. :D Here’s my final view of my favorite tree, as we walked back to the house after finishing the evening chores, before the sky got too dark, I think the clouds just enhance how pretty it looks, but of course I’m bias. :D
