Indeed sharing God's love and giving hope is the best gift we can give especially to these people in this kind of situation. Letting them know never to give up. Once they realized this, and let them strengthen their faith to God then they will also get motivated.
Yes you're absolutely right. This kind of people are willing to receive God's word and it is our time to share God's goodness. And I'm pretty sure that God will touch their lives.
