The Standing Man
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. — 1 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV)
By inspiration,the standing referred here means to be right and one with Christ. Thus the falling is a compromise of Divine standard. It's important to note that no one stand or falls without knowing it deep inside his heart by thoughts.
Today,God in His mercy draws us to a very important spiritual need for alertness in everything we do,everytime and everywhere. Are you in right standing with God? If yes,be very careful,consciously be alert and watch to avoid a falling away. This is paramount in our time,when falling away is justified in blaming others. A time of no fear for God. A time when sin and immorality has become a fashion. A time when loving the world is celebrated. This is the time to be more careful,my brethren. Take heed less you fall! There are so many things that triggers a falling away from grace in our time. The need for money,job,power,position,relationship and the pressure to get married on time. The world pushes us to the wall in a bit to pursue success,but no one is justified to fall for these worldly tricks.
Are you already fallen? Arise today and get back to your first love in Christ. You can be whole again and Christ will restore your relationship with God. Don't wait for destruction to come,take cover in the blood of Christ while mercy is available.
I pray today,that God will continue to empower us and we shall not fall into the foolishness of this world. We shall get to the finishing line in Jesus' name.Amen. Keep standing for Christ.
