ULOG #5: Walking in Him

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians2:6-7

God, in His mercy has given us Christ Jesus. Given for our forgiveness of sins, deliverance from the works of darkness, reconciliation with God, prosperity and eternal life, Christ should be in us and we in Him. Have you received Him? If yes, walk in Him. It's a mandate on us to be rooted and overwhelmed by His standard. His righteousness should be our lifestyles. His word should be our standard. His presence should be our influence, His power should be our strength and His authority should be a final conclusion to every matter in our lives. Let us abandon the ways of the flesh, with the lust thereof. Let us severe ourselves from the entanglements with the world system. Let us be like Christ in our daily conduct, abounding in thanksgiving to the Lord of all.

Let the sinners come to Christ. The gospel is preached, thus no one is excusable anymore. Let he that is wicked turn away from evil and accept Christ. Let he that is addicted to evil come to the embrace of Christ today. For the day of reckoning is at hand and whosoever reject the gift of salvation in Christ Jesus shall not go unpunished. The time to accept Christ is now.

Let's pray together. Abba Father, thank you for the gift of Christ, our liberty and victory on every side. Please clean us from all unrighteousness and grant us eternal life, full of your presence and power, in Jesus name. Amen. Walk in Christ!
