Ulog #31: At the Rural Areas

Good evening Steemians and Uloggers around the world!

It was another long day, and it's midweek! I just did my usual Wednesday routine and it's fun. We went out for field service, and our territory has been the town of Bugallon.

In the morning, we went to a rural area which was close to the mountains. We reached 3 deaf students, by which the two were soon to be married, and the other one is single. We scheduled to visit another deaf person, however, the problem is the supposed way that we should take might be closed due to the rain. We're advised to take the main road but we decided to go back to the town proper because it's already noontime, and we have to take our lunch. There are few tricycles to have a ride in the area so we walked for about a kilometer until a tricycle driver offered a ride. It stopped for awhile to wait for the other passenger and I noticed how the rice fields are soaked in water.

So far, it is still very much alive, and still standing strong.

We had our lunch quite late, so we resumed our work in the afternoon a bit late. In the afternoon, we visited a young girl who at first was reluctant because she climbed a tree. Eventually, she went down and we studied.

After the lessons, we headed to other students. Close to the house of the student is this farm with those planted bowed down.

Maybe the farmers can do something to save this. Besides, it would be their lost if they haven't took care of them.

It was still a fun day. I expected a whole day of rain because I woke up with downpour. Gladly, it didn't rain but it just did tonight. Nighttime would be the best time to rain to have a great sleep.
