#ULOG 008: My Real Estate Agent Journey and Friends
In my previous writings, I already blogged my single mom's journey. Raising alone is never an easy thing. It is tough, really tough. Without asking any help from my family, I have a part time job that can sustain the needs and finance my daughter's expenses. I am an office engineer and the same time a business woman and lately I engaged in the real estate world. Yeah! I am super woman in the making.
Last May 2018, I became a member of Cebu First Realty Ventures and Corporation. One of the finest and top realty in Philippines.
My friend convinced me to be part of them and he told me that money is easy when you have determination, patience, sincere prayers and have convincing power. My friend took 7 months before she had a buyer of a subdivision unit and earning commissions. She believed Strike it while the iron is hot.
What is real estate agent?
Real Estate Agent is the one who will negotiate with the buyer to find out what kind of property they interested in and what they are willing to sell or buy. So, agent act as a intermediary person in between the buyer and the developer.
Here are some tips or responsibilities that the Real Estate Agent or broker accountability.
Study the Property Listings
It is important that the agent is knowledgeable with the projects that they are endorsing. So once the developer is on Pre-selling stage, the developer will call a PKS or product knowledge study for the discussions of the complete details of the projects and as well as the computations of the payment scheme.
- Interview the Prospect Clients
Being an agent, you have ways to get prospects client. Nowadays, social media is one way of getting information easily. What I did, was to post in the Facebook timeline the product that the developer were selling.
- Accompany Clients to Site locations
When the agent has a prospect buyer, he/she will answer all the questions and clarification of the buyers. When the buyer requested for a site visit, the agent will accompany them all the way to the developer.
