#Ulog 008: Spending My Saturday Night with Friends
TGIS meaning Thanks God It's Saturday.
Who would be happier when Saturday comes? Not just happy but very happy. Considering Monday is a lazy day but Saturday is the best day of the week for working in corporate world.
Why I am happy with Saturday?
According to research that work can be a double edged sword that let our brain stimulated by the activity but at the same time long working hours can cause fatigue and stress which potentially damage the cognitive functions.
So when you are working in a corporate world like me then you are prone to stressful and unrelaxed life. Imagine, I am an office engineer in a construction company with long exposure in office hours such as 9 to 12 hours from Monday to Saturday with no overtime pay unless stated by managers. I am giving my time as free to the company but without in return.
Corporate work is sucks. Life would be miserable.
I am happy with Saturday because this is where everyone are free to go and do whatever they want. Just like my office mates, almost every Saturday night we spent it for exploration and having a night life. I love Saturday because I can get out from the hectic and busy world. This is time for unwinding our mind from computing the gain of the company and putting money on it with the use of the employees effort, time and skills.
In my #ulog of the day, would like to share our way of spending the Saturday night with my friends.
The original plan was in Mango Avenue in 22nd street comedy bar in Cebu City. Unfortunately, the weather was bad we decided to looked some place in Talisay area only for dining.
Then we reached this Alberto's Pizza at Plaza Margarita Talisay City one ride from the Minglanilla proper. We spent about one hour of eating favorite pizza flavours and a two bottles of VODKA. This was my first time to drink this 6% alcohol yet it taste like royal. It is sweet and this is not a hard drink just like red horse or etc so no worries I can still walked alone.
After an hour, our two companions decided to went home while me and my gay friend would like to hang out some more. So we went to Naga Boardwalk somewhere in South of Cebu. Luckily, my friend @ozellequiamco was also there alone. Chatting, strolling and picture taking at the boardwalk were what we done all the time. After that, our tummy was empty already. Looking for a perfect place to chilling out and our feet took us in this restaurant and bar as well. We had a great time with foods and enjoying the romantic and classic style of resto. That time many people dining inside. Probably, many people prefer here because it was facing in the colorful Naga Boardwalk where you could feel the breeze of the wind and sounds of music from the seas. Of course, beers were included in our menu.

Indeed, some of you will condemn me of drinking hards where in fact there are many ways of getting out the stress.
Well, we don't do it every week. Most of the time, we spend our Saturday night with our favorite people in the world our Family.
We drink moderately and carry the drinkers responsibilites.
Well that is why I love Saturday. Its up to you how you spend yours but make sure you will have time for yourself. Time is gold and don't waste it. Go what makes you happy. Do whatever you want in life. Don't stuck in one place rather explore and discover the many places for making you a better person.
