#ULOG 014...MY DAY OUT, PAINTING TYRES.

Hello friends, trust you're all having a great day. It's been a while I did ulog to let you my fans know how I have been.

So what exactly has your celebrity been up to lately? 😀😀 I'll tell ya. Just journey with me.

I've been a part of an NGO whose vision is giving back to the community. We've executed a whole lot of projects from medical outreaches, to prison visits, skill acquisition training, inter-school career sensitization and lot more.

Recently, we had a creativity project in a school. It involved painting of used and discarded tyres and creating a table and chair setting at the children play ground with the tyres.

The idea was to help these kids develop the Power of creativity within them. To let them know that creativity doesn't have boundaries as you can create beauty out of nonsense and useless things around you.

We had all arrangements in place prior to the day of execution of this project. The tyres, the paints, the ceiling board for the table, cement, sand, everything. Unfortunately, the painter who was supposed to use a spraying machine to ease our work disappointed the very day we already booked.

We didn't let this stop us as the kids were more than willing to offer assistance. They were so eager and happy to be a part of what we were doing. They helped in washing the tyres and left them in the sun to dry. Within few minutes, the tyres were all dried and ready for painting. We got hand brushes and spent all noon painting the tyres. The sky was cloudy, and rain soon started. We had to suspend the work until the following day.

The next day, we put finishing touches to the work. Our efforts paid off because the work was successfully completed and really beautiful. The students were happy and the management and staffs of the school were really warm and very receptive. Everyone of my team members were truly satisfied. That joy of knowing that you're the reason for so many smiles.

I'm really glad being a part of this body, imparting lives every chance I get. Thank you very much @surpassinggoggle. Its my #ulog...14. I can't believe I've come this far already. You made it possible.
