#ULOG S2018E032: Arcanys Basketball Fun Game Night

I am a certified #ulogger. Here's my Day 32 entry:

Our plans of going home to Bohol was postponed because of so many reasons. Number one is my health, I am not feeling 100% okay because of fever and colds. So James decided that he'd play basketball with his colleagues instead. Their friendly basketball match happens every Friday at USP Gym. Since I had been at home all day, I also decided to accompany him so my eyes could see new things aside from our home and the village.

At seven in the evening, James arrived with a Tuna Panini which I greatly appreciate. We ate dinner together and went on our way to the USPF Gym at 8:30 PM.

There were only a few early birds around so James had some time to practice, it's been weeks since he last joined due to his knee issue. He still feels some pain in there but just won't think about it that much just so he could play. I always told him to have it checked, perhaps an x-ray is best to really see what's wrong but he has no plan of setting a doctor's appointment just yet.

And so he played, I was watching them play their hearts out and there were so many blooper moments I wish I had captured on camera. I can see the guys enjoyed playing, basketball is the number one sports here in the Philippines.

These guys are developers and are just playing so they could have a day where they can run, get sweaty and exercise after all the days of just facing the monitor screens and think of coding solutions for their projects.

Their company has supported this too and had sponsored their mini leagues, they also had set up uniforms! This month, a new league will commence, they had been grouped into three and will compete against each other. Again, it is just a friendly competition but there will be cash prizes for their efforts of course.

While the boys were playing, I also went around and took photos of the USPF gym and its surrounding.

Speaking of basketball, congratulations to Golden State Warriors for the very impressive sweep! They are the NBA 2018 Champions!
