The Nasdem Party cadre, Ibrahim Hasan alias Ibrahim Hongkong, has often smuggled methamphetamine drugs into Indonesia.

Previously, Ibrahim Hongkong was secured with his partner for smuggling three sacks of methamphetamine and about 30 ecstasy pills.

Still according to Ibrahim's confession, precisely in mid-July 2018, Ibrahim had brought himself 55 kilograms of methamphetamine from Malaysia.

At that time, Arman said, Ibrahim's efforts had been smelled by officers of the National Narcotics Agency. But when pursued, Ibrahim disappeared in the village around Pangkalan Susu.

"Ibrahim's statement when pursued by a BNN member, the 55 kg sabu was taken by car and he himself became the driver so that he escaped the pursuit," said the two-star general.

In the future, said Arman, his side will continue to develop Ibrahim's involvement. In addition to the threat of capital punishment for smuggling drugs, officers also target Ibrahim with money laundering.
