The Dreamhouse Effect

I am currently having my internship in a prestige company that helped me grow and gain more knowledge of my chosen career. I realized that I had still so much to learn from this promising profession.

Now, that my co-intern and I are assigned in the office, we had to learn office works and one of them is AUTOCAD. Although, we already had a suffice amount knowledge in AUTOCAD, we still wanted to learn from the experts. What we really wanted to pursue was designing structures usually buildings by using sketch-up and luckily the AUTOCAD operator knew how to design using that software and was really good at it. What do you expect from an ex-architecture student.

Of course, he taught us the basics about Sketch-up and made us design our own dreamhouse. He said that envisioning or having a dreamhouse should be a MUST. For me, having a dreamhouse was not necessary, the truth is my pessimistic side triggered and gave a thought that either it would turn to reality or remain a 3d drawing for eternity. How can I be so naive and pathetic? Heh.

He showed us his own dreamhouse and we were in awe of its aesthetic beauty. Anyway, we call him MASTER SENSEI because we saw that designing was really his passion and even through his designs we could feel the realness of the dreamhouse. That dreamhouse made an effect on us, it gave us motivation and inspired us to make our own home despite the fact that it would either be built or remain a homescreen wallpaper on our laptops.

We envy our Master Sensei, if only we had creative minds and artistic eyes that he has we might be able to produce a design that is genuine and created by heart. We will not stop striving and aiming for this one day and design with full of passion and life.
