To be a Parent is a fond dream , a dream especially of those who are getting married or have been married for a time . Parenthood gives a feeling of fulfillment especially if it means the successful rearing of children. Nevertheless,it is the common knowledge that parenthood is accompanied by sacrifices, hardships and responsibilities. Responsible parenthood lies on preparedness for a married life.

This was my throwback photo when I was a little kid same with my siblings.This is my family. My parents have a 3 Children.

Reasons for Getting Married

Marriage is one of the greatest gifts of God to us, people . Some couples get married believing that they could build a happy family, rear healthy children, earn enough for their daily needs and hope to have a someone to lean on as they grow older.
Most of people get married because of love which they interpret in so many ways.
Responsibilities of Parents:
Getting married is associated with great responsibilities like personal, social, and spiritual responsibilities especially when children are born. Both father and mother should face their own responsibilities with courage. Being a parent is a great challenge that one should accept. This is a life-long responsibility. They are the first persons responsible for the kind of children they want. They should mold them into the best children they want. Parents should have the ability to understand them and also love them and set good examples to them. Being friendly to their own children is also important to ensure honesty, sincerity and openness in their relationships. They always find time to talk with the children especially those with problems.Parents should show trust in their children to ensure honesty and obedience.And more than these, parents should be sensitive enough to the behavior of their children. Each child has a behavior and personality all his or her own.
The family serves as the fist guide of every child as he or she grows.

Responsibilities of Children

A children like their parents have their responsibilities too. They should appreciate what their parents did for them. Children should be good not only in words but also in deeds. Respect and love for the family , which were taught to them since they were young , should not be lost and taken for granted. Likewise, children should practice unity, cooperation, being considerate and being sincere. A family cannot be called such if its members are indifferent to one another.
Children should always respect and obey their parents. They should learn to abide by their advice. They are our first teachers and friends.Children should show gratitude to their parents ,for caring for them, for working hard to provide for their basic needs and forgiving up own comfort just to please them. There are children who are stubborn and may not be good parents someday. They may acquire bad habits and practices that result from disobedience. Other children become criminals when they grow older. We cannot trust children who do not respect and obey their parents. To sum it up, rearing children is accompanied by responsible planning and decision making toward meeting what the family needs.
