ULOG #2 : Happy Fiesta Mandauehanons! | An annual celebration of culture and faith
Festivals make the community more delighted with its culture and how the community works as one.

Hooray for a great day! That should every day be greeted. I am on my second ULog Segment though it is a little bit late for some unexpected circumstance. All Mandauehanons (basically, how we call the people living in Mandaue) celebrated the annual fiesta on the commemoration of our patron saint - St.Joseph.
It was a day full of blast at home and on my community. With lots of household prepared for their roasted pork or "lechon". Some arranged their tables outside their houses with the table napkins folded properly. The smoke does not signify the dirty place but it shows how the street was so busy preparing with their dishes while waiting on their valued guest to attend.
However, this day should not only about the foods or whatsoever but must be the day to strengthen our faith with God. We did not forgot to visit the church and pray for more goodness in life.
One should not forget why we had this kind of days. It is a matter of commemoration on our faith not just to the people around us and on the community we belong but also the faith we had in God and its prophets who allows these things to happen.
One more thing, enjoy the life as it is. Never stop on enjoying of what you have and where you are. This celebration in our home might be not so elegant but I know we had the thing that not everybody has - the faith and love of God.
This is WHERE I BELONG. Looking forward for more ULOG and happily share it to the rest of the world.
