#Ulog No.25 The Rain came down and the flood came up in our house

Hello #Uloggers and #Steemians! A pleasant day to all!

I love the rain. Specially that for so many months now we have to suffer hot weather and the heat waves that are unbearable. I even avoid doing site tours for my clients in real estate business because I would feel dizzy when I'm traveling on the road! It is true that we are experiencing now the effects of depleted ozone layers in the atmosphere that years ago were just thought of as a speculation. We never thought that this condition will ever come. The common cause of all these is human neglect and carelessness. The burning of the forest areas and unrestricted logging are the main culprit that cause this predicament.

In as much as I love the rain now, the thing is the weather seems to be out of control! When the rain pours now, it's as if barrels of water are pouring from the sky!

The resulting flash floods in our place are now a common occurrence. Unfortunately our house is located in a lower area where water easily accumulates into a pool of dirty and foul smelling water that comes from open canals.

But although only our front yard gets flooded, our backyard seems to be enjoying the pouring rain. The garden plants appear fresh and vibrant as if welcoming the much needed water for their roots to absorb. The flower buds are now appearing and the tiny fruits are now coming out.

Pondering upon this occurance, in life there are also some negative situation that makes us unhappy. But it is said that for every difficulty, a seed of opportunity is born. A seed that builds our character and gives us an empetus to move forward that will eventually bring joy and happiness. That is the duality of earthly life. Happiness and distress, heat and cold, joy and sadness. They all come and go, not permanent tho, for all things must pass.
