ULOG 012: I ATTENDED A SEMINAR ON GEO- INTELLIGENCE IN ABUJA

Hello good evening,
I am glad to write my #Ulog post today. The seminar is for 3 days at Abuja and today is the opening day. I got to the venue NASRDA ,Abuja around 9.30 pm and the Seminar started at 10.00am. Geo- intelligence refers to ways by with Geographic information Systems could be used to tackle security issues in the country.
This seminar is alongside with the Nigeria Navy personnel chosen from the Geo political zones of the country.
Today we were introduced to what Geographic information Systems means and the different components of GIS, The applications in brief. And other aspects will be explained better as the seminar proceeds.
It was a great day meeting with such an intelligent resources persons who explained all those are concepts to us.
We would be going through some practicals on the computer system and am so happy to be among the participants.
