One normal night (ULOG: Día 1)
One normal night
It all started because a gang leader was killed. An 18-year-old boy who was killed by a 15-year-old boy. That's the way young people are around here. At the beginning of yesterday afternoon the news was heard and from that moment people began to hide in their homes, to pick up the children and the dogs, to pick up life. There was no time to waste: the night threatened to come smelly with vengeance and death.
Right now, while I'm drinking my coffee, the news comes in drops. Three were killed: all with multiple gunshot wounds to the back. They say that when the victims saw their executioners they fled, but that death caught up with them on the run. We all looked at each other in amazement: the neighbor's son was murdered. Death still lurks and we are all exposed to it.
I don't know how abnormal this type of event is in other countries, but in our country, Venezuela, this is normal. Every night young people die at the hands of the underworld or die because they are part of the underworld. If we continue as we are, on the one hand, with our young people migrating to other countries and, on the other, with those who are still being murdered, we will be a country of old people and without hope.
Hi @nancybriti my prayers go out to all the mothers and fathers who are losing their children to crime and gangs violence... and to all the innocent victims too.
The government must do it’s job and stop the violence.
Or stand down...
We should all help each other.
What is life like in the countryside? I hope it is...
better there!
May God keep you and your family safe 🙏
Thank you for your words and good wishes, @mayliberty. I know there are a lot of people out there supporting us and praying for us. A big hug!
😊
No, this shouldn't be normal in any country! Where there's poverty and ignorance, and social suffering, young people find no other exit than crime :(
The future of young people is sad and uncertain, @marcoriccardi. It is unfortunate that such a beautiful country has been turned into a rubble by bandits. Bandits in the street, bandits in power. Youth without a way out! I embrace you
You are making a chronicle necessary to inform and denounce the hardships to which this government of criminals has led us, which has turned our streets into caves of calamities and miseries.
I greet you, @ nancybriti.
You say it well: government of criminals, @oacevedo. We're cornered by criminals. Thank you for commenting!
La noche es mas oscura justo antes de amancer. Vendran mejores momentos para Venezuela. Carinos querida Nancy.
May God hear you and see us, @mendys-soul. Tonight has been a long night for us!
