ULOG#31: Fighting for our Dream!|Ticket Selling for Shout Dance Competition PH
What's up peepz! Our team named #PboysAttraction are screaming for your support! We will be competing the the very first dance competition of Gut it out ph this coming August 8, 2018. We are one of the qualifier of #SHOUT dance competition. After attending the assembly, they gave 30 tickets per team and we need to sell it all for 150 php each. Our choreographer started an argue between the organizer because the "ticket selling" will be part of criteria for judging. The more tickets you sell, the more chances of winning.
Our team was like :O, this is one of the issues of every dance crews when joining an event. I not saying all but most of the events has a "ticket selling" that will affect the scores of the competitors.
In my point of view, as my choreographer and managers words. That rule is kinda unfair. The more ticket sold, the higher the additional point. What if, the first team received a 95% from the judges and only sold 2 tickets while the next team got 85% but sold 25 tickets? Who will be the champion then?
I am not pertaining only to this competition, I just want to share the struggle of competing an event. Most of the dancers are honored to perform on a big stage but the registration, rules and some scenarios itself are the primary hinders. Though any obstacles are nothing compare to our smallest goal. We are team with a dream, we are family in a theme!
