Fulfilling one more year of life is a blessing from God.

My husband celebrated one more year of life and I decided to prepare a cake to maintain the tradition of singing the birthday.

The ingredients for the preparation of the cake were the following:

• 4 cups of wheat flour
• 4 cups of sugar
• 2 cup of cocoa powder
• 1 cup of coffee
• 1 cup of oil
• 1 cup of milk
• 5 eggs
• 3 teaspoons of baking soda
• 3 teaspoons of baking powder
• 1 spoon of vanilla

For decoration we need:

• 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
• 3 spoonfuls of sugar
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1/2 cup of coffee
• 1 cup of water
• Chocolate Rain

The procedure was the following:

1. In a mold, add all the dry ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda. With a spoon stir and sift.

2. Add the other ingredients: eggs, coffee, milk, oil, vanilla and mix.

3. Once you have mixed everything, empty the mixture in the previously greased molds, bake for 40 minutes or test with the knife.

4. Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool.

5. For the chocolate cover, boil a cup of water, then add chocolate, sugar, coffee and cornstarch. Mix until all the ingredients are united and turn off the heat when it is thick. we let it cool a little.

6. We proceed to add the chocolate cover and the chocolate rains.

It is a very happy day where we share with family and friends one more year of life full of experiences, learning and personal growth.
