Commissioned Piece
A foreign lady friend of Mr. Dreamtree wanted him to draw the lead guitarist of Toto. He accepted the offer in spite of the fact that he wasn't too fond of the idea, especially considering the stipulations behind the piece. She wanted him playing a guitar and shooting a bow and arrow? Also, her color choices were colors that he does not even own because he doesn't use them. He told her he was willing to do the piece so long as he was allowed to adhere to his established style. This is the progress so far.....
And yeah, she likes the progress so far. Now, the question remains, how much will he be paid for doing something he had no passion in doing in the first place??
Birthday Blues...
Larry Dreamtree turned 40 yesterday but, it wasn't a too happy of a birthday. His morning work was rushed. Displaying on the street was an epic war against the elements, as the wind wouldn't leave his f*cking assssssss alone. His prints kept blowing down the sidewalk in spite of the huge rocks he had tacked onto them. The spot he usually uses was taken. The neighboring painter's work kept blowing off and hitting him in the head. Where he was displayed became shady early in the day, preventing most passersby from seeing his work. Most weekends he makes over $50, which is enough to survive for a week. This time, it was only $30 and it cost $12 just to make that happen.
To top it all off, the Wifi at the store crashed when he tried to post to Steemit last night. The workers didn't seem to care so much. His aunt had to go into surgery for a gash in her heart and he couldn't even get any updates because stores don't seem to care enough to invest in reliable Wifi. Plus, it snowed at camp. Hurrah!!! At least today is better for him, thus far. Pray frogs don't rain (reign) upon him, lol.
