ULOG # 2: Steemit Diversify's When You Are Given A Chance Grab It, Don’t Waste It

Steemit Diversify is hardly a new group. It has been started since last year but it was not active. So many changes happened. So many different names changed but the Steemit Diversify remained. It was a large group before. There were a few leaders and mentors. We tried to help newbies. Teaching them techniques and helping them in their English and grammar. Then it started to lie low. Not everyone seemed interested in it anymore. Some were in a rush to reach the higher level in the ladder of success.

But success does not happen overnight. They wanted to rush in. But it was not possible to do so. Steemit Diversify, Things have to start from the bottom or go slowly.

There was a commotion. People started to leave for their own reason, they did not have the guts or courage to keep on going. Some even said the group will not last long and will not go anywhere.

Out of a few leaders and monitors only 2 stayed behind. They tried to form the group again. They decided to start slowly, make a stand and explain to the new members about sharing, caring and being loyal. They got durations, opened the account and started moving. Slow Daily being active. I was hard. But luckily the new members understood. They were cooperative. SO a group of 11 was formed. We thought it would go smoothly. We started to look for the luck 12th but then again someone left. They were not pushed out not was booted out. Explanations were given and we tried to give chances to stay, offering help and even allowing to lie low for a while. But I guess it did not make any dent in their minds. So it was sad and now we were down to 10.

We offered the place to 2 old members who did not leave but was left in a cloud of darkness not knowing what happened. They agreed and we agreed when they were given all the rules and explanations.

Now as we are slowly going up towards our goals, people are in awe. They seemed surprised that the group they deemed failing is succeeding.

The group is happy with what they have now. We are 13 (including the SD account itself) and we have just one more vacancy which is already being offered to someone. A person most know and respect. A former member who was also left in the dark. We are giving them time to adjust and make the move.

So my point is: Never judge a person, a group or an organization until you see what they have done or have not done.

In fairness to all the other members who have worked hard and did their best, we will not be accepting new or old members as of now. Maybe when we are more than halfway towards our goal another meeting will happen. But even if we are steady at 13 or 14 it does not mean we are not helping the others. We are resteeming other posts to help them get noticed. We are being careful with our voting power that we do not get below 70% so if we have some vp left we also upvote the other newbies and so do the other members.

We take care of our members and we also share with others. We help other in different ways too.

So now the group Steemit Diversify that was doomed for failure has proved them wrong. We arose from the ashes and stood up. With the help and support of @surpassinggoogle, @hr1, @ulogs, @arcange and all the members, we will survive. We will reach our goal hopefully within the year.
