A bad day of fishing will always beat a good day at work.

I did not catch any story-worth fish....

I did have fun though! Had plenty of vitamin D production! Best of all, I cleared my mind and did not think of anything besides my task at hand!

I stopped by my favorite bait shop, Saltgrass Bait. Please support your local small businesses. I bought a pound of fresh dead shrimp and found my favorite fishing spot. The beach entrances were in fairly bad shape as shown below, but the tides were perfect and you could see the slicks where the fish were feeding in the surf.

The tide was way out and the waves were ~1-2ft. I really couldn't ask for a better day! Especially since we were expecting Invest 95L to become a major storm. (Still praying for my friends in the Carolinas because of Hurricane Florence).

I'm sure I am probably rambling by now. It has been a while since I have been fishing and even longer since I came home to write a blog post about it. I promise to get better...

I will not wait so long between #ulog postings.
