Colorful Decorations at Robinson's Galleria Cebu + Adopt a Pet event (ULOG Day 121)

Hello there my fellow Uloggers and Steemians. :)
In my previous ULOG Day 120,I showed some pictures of a crowded mall due to some actors and actresses' mall show. I also mentioned in the same blog that I and my mama decided to go to another mall instead so as not to get caught up in the sea of people.

And the mall we went to next is called Robinson's Galleria Cebu. It's also one of the famous malls in Cebu, but the good thing about it is that it isn't very crowded compared with other malls. I think it's because of its location that people don't often go there. Despite that, I also like this mall.

Aside from the fact that it's less crowded, I also like the decorations they have in the mall. Let me show you some of them.





Cebu, especially Lapu Lapu City, is very well known for guitars and guitar makers. I guess this decoration is inspired with that thought. This huge guitar is found at the center of the mall. The huge area is actually the activity center. It was in this mall where I cosplayed as Tony Tony Chopper of One Piece. :)





This heart-shaped decoration made of colorful flowers is also very attractive. Somehow, it reminds us to spread the beauty of love. <3

Under the escalators on the side part of the mall, we can see these relaxing greenery. I think seeing these things inside the mall makes people more relaxed and reduce their stress. Actually, outside the mall, they have a lovely garden. At night, they usually light the fountain in the center of the garden. I didn't take pictures outside, though. But I did have a picture of it before. I'll try to check my files on my PC later. :)





The whole area is the Food Gallery. As you might have noticed, there are interesting hanging plants on the ceiling. It's really nice to look at. Unfortunately though, there aren't a lot of choices in their food gallery compared to other malls... so mama and I went downstairs to find a place to eat. I'll be sharing about that restaurant in another entry soon. :)





While strolling, we saw this very cute picture of vacationer piggies in one of the travel agencies inside the mall. They're so cute, so I took a picture of them. I really like cute piggies. <3 Well, pigs aren't my favorite animal, but I just find pig stuffed toys or other stuff with pig designs attractive.





Speaking of animals, in the activity center that day, there was a small event which is "Adopt a Pet". The animals are for adoption. They already have their health card and has started with their de-worming and vaccinations already. There were some dogs and cats in the event.

Mama and I wanted to adopt one of them, but it's difficult to transport the dog to our house because we only took the bus going to the mall and pets aren't allowed inside the bus. Actually, we're really planning on adopting another dog, so Arashi will have a playmate as well. Since we couldn't do so that day, we only offered some donation and took their contact number in case we finalize our decision of adopting another dog. :)

When I went near the dogs, two of them hurriedly went near me and I felt my heart break. T_T Why are there irresponsible people? If they can't take the responsibility, why did they take in a pet and then left them? T_T As a dog owner, we consider our pet as a family member. He is very adorable and we really feel his affection and love towards us as well. I hope people with pets become more responsible. Think first before deciding to adopt a pet or something.

By the way, the host of the event is a private person. He didn't belong to any organization or stuff, so the people helping him in the event were all volunteers. Hopefully, more people who are capable enough will take in those adorable furballs.

Aside fro Robinson's Galleria in Cebu, another mall called Park Mall, usually have these kinds of events as well. :) It's nice to know some malls which are animal-friendly. ^^
