We had so much fun in Philadelphia! We met some amazing people, and I got to hang out with my team. Fellow authors Ger Carriere, and Travon Taylor. (Otherwise known as Travon 'TBomb' Taylor). Championship boxer!

When we travel we have very little time to check out the city, so, off we went!! We went to dinner at City Tap, it was DELICIOUS! And then off we went on the 15 minute trek to the place where the Rocky Statue stands, and where they filmed him running up the steps. Or course, we decided, along side a bunch of other tourists, that we needed to recreate the scene. However, I'm pretty sure that Travon and I were the only boxer and stunt woman together at the time. So, we thought it would be fun if he threw me a couple of punches!!

After that we went to the steps to recreate the view there! We had so much fun just blowing off steam there. Ger was super creative, she grabbed her camera and turned if on selfie and up the steps she ran! Then, I filmed Travon running up the steps. I ran into one problem. HE RUNS FAST!!! I realized I couldn't look at my camera and the steps at the same time. At one point, I just started running to keep up! It was hilarious. Oh, did I mention we did all the action, a 15 minute walk there and a 15 minute walk back in 105 degree swamp weather? We were all soaking wet when we got back to the hotel. When we walked into the hotel (the Sofitel) where we were staying, all 3 of us just stood there and said, 'aaaaaahhhhhhh'. The air conditioner felt SOOO good.
