RE: Do You Notice Number Patterns?
As humans one of our greatest traits is pattern recognition, which stems right back centuries and probably well beyond recorded history.
Although I do have a spiritual side, I also like to think of things through a different lens.
It's often mentioned that 11.11 is the awakening code, so if you usually look at the time on a clock and it quite often says 11.11 then it means something. But we look at the time on clocks multiple times each day, so it's bound to pop up regularly, especially because 11.11 is a time of day which is close to lunch time. While working we often know we are getting close to our lunch break, so we look at the clock around this time each day.
I like to believe it does mean something, but I also know that this is most likely not the case :)
Yes, I have to agree with you... although it does feel like a 'universal connection' I do believe that we tend to notice things that are (subconsciously) foremost in our thoughts and/or expectations. As in your example, we don't take so much notice of the time at 10.57 but when 11.11 pops into our vision, we suddenly feel like it's a sign.
