ULOG #27: Why non-SBD rewards aren't so bad
For the first time, I earned only SP and STEEM from a post, particularly my last ULOG.
Instead of feeling down and disheartened, I took time to evaluate my growth in Steemit over the last two months. I realized that I earned more SP and STEEM during my last two months here (4.2 SP, 2.3 STEEM) compared to my first two (2.5 SP, 0.3 STEEM).
For me, that time frame was a great opportunity to let my STEEM and SP grow, and at the same time gradually earn some more SBD while spending it on contests and upvote bots. I had more time to comment on other posts, and still had some time to post some stuff that would prove to be high-quality down the road (that's a topic for a whole other post next time).
While I wait for SBD to return to its former glory, for now I'll take advantage of the sky-high share of SP and STEEM in our rewards pool.
