21 DAY COLD SHOWER CHALLENGE - DAY 1

5 minute cold shower for 21 days in a row. No warmup hot before taking the plunge. Recording daily the post game commentary. I see this as a way to face momentary mind resistances that may come up as how I talk myself out of following through with my own instructions.

This is a very good challenge but I think I can only do it on a hot summer day when I don't have the AC on at home. I might be comfortable with it . I guess that defeats the purpose.

That's one of the reasons I moved to Asia is to rid of that buggery cold weather and wind.
The water isn't so cold but certainly gives you shivers at night :)

I've heard that a cold shower or cold bath at night...makes for a deeper sleep.. - will investigate and report back :)

I tried cold showers. It definitely feels like something good is going on inside your body. And man, is it invigorating.

Okay now I KNOW you are a glutto for punishment! I took the cold shower challenge for 1 day because of my friend @matkodurko and that was enough for me.

Keep challenging yourself. It is either inspiring or entertaining!

People in prison like to take cold showers because becoming accustomed to the shock of the cold water prepares you for the shock of being shanked so you don't seize up when that happens. I like to switch the water to cold in the summer so I don't get all sweaty as soon as I step out of the shower.

I play with my breathing - you don't really have to think about it....just kind of play with the movement - both fast and slow. My preference is slow.

in getting comfortable with the cold...it works best if you first start off with doing cycles back and forth from hot to cold and warm. Play around with your own internal temperature gauge.

When you are warmed up inside it is for sure easier to embrace the cold and not be so reactive to it...it's incredible stuff to explore
