Ulog: MONTH OF THE LANGUAGE: BUWAN NG WIKA TUWING AGOSTO SA PILIPINAS
August 01, 2018.
It is the first day of the month wherein the Philippines will celebrate the annual celebration of " Buwan ng Wika or Month of the Language". With the theme of the year 2018: FILIPINO WIKA NG SALIKSIK. The theme recognized the language of Filipino wherein it is a medium source to create a good knowledge, learnings and progress of all Filipinos. Sa pamamagitan ng tema, layon ng KWF na palaganapin ang wikang Filipino sa iba’t ibang larang ng karunungan, lalo na sa agham at matematika.
The schools in different areas around the Philippines conducted the opening activity of the said date above wherein all the students are wearing the different ethnic attire and barong at saya. The annual celebration of the ‘Buwan ng Wika’ is in line with Proclamation No. 1041 series of 1997 which declares the celebration of the event every August. It was signed by former Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos. Every year all the students are excited to show there unique design of dress like kimona/barong at saya. Some are choosing to wear the dress of ethnic group example the bahag style. Ang ganda balik-balikan ang mga pangyayari sa noong sinaunang panahon.
BUWAN NG WIKA is one of the yearly events that is celebrated in the Philippines is the ‘Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa’ or the National Language Month. Based on a report, it is the Department of Education and Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino that lead the event. This is the reason why all the schools both private or public in the whole month of August are busy preparing there activities. Some are busy preparing for the ethnic dance presentation like Chicken dance, pandanggo sa ilaw, tinikling at iba pa.
Ang bawat pangkat ng mga estudyante ay may inihandang mga pasabog para sa aktibidad. Each students/pupils are preparing for there best poem (tula), balagtasan, and many more.

This is Vianzzi Mae grade 5 students she is wearing chambra one of Filipino attire in the Philippines. It is a combination of slippers and saya. It is so nice to see the beauty of our kids/students who are very proud to show and share there beautiful attire. Vianzzi is very proud to present here best attire.
