MY ULOG #05: I HAD A GREAT TIME IN GOD’S PRESENCE TODAY!

The day came bright and promising. It’s a Sunday and another time of fellowship in God’s presence and the brethren.
I started the day by being thankful to God for the day and then prepared for service.
I had a nice time today in church ranging from the worship, praise, testimony section and then to the word.
The minister shared with us his thought on Grace.
He started by quoting 2 Corinthians 1:2
2 Corinthians 1:2
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Grace causes your ability and capability to improve. It helps you live a victorious life always.
He also made us realized that you can actually grow in grace.
How to Grow in Grace:
You can grow in grace through God’s word.
Your knowledge is your limitation. So the higher your knowledge and understanding of God’s word, the more grace you grow in grace.
For instance in your office you’re given a task which for you seems difficult or impossible to accomplished, but your knowledge and proclamation of the word of God that says “I can do all things through Christ..” will infuse into you the ability to accomplish that task.
When there is an increased grace in your life, speed to accomplish things comes.
One other point I took note of was from 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
He made us realized that Man is a spirit and the food he needs to grow is God’s word.
We are in the world but we need to act and be conscious that we are spirit being.
From Verse 4:Strongholds are theories or believe you’ve come to hold claim of which are against the words of God.
Example in the Africa setting when a persons hand shakes or the eye keep blinking it is believed to be a bad omen! This are called strong holds because the are contrary to God’s word.
He encouraged us to turn every wrong theories to our good.; Example when your hand shakes, instead of believing or thinking that bad thing is about to happen why not believe money is entering into your hands or account.
In conclusion knowledge of the word of God is what you need to live a graceful and victorious life. study and meditate on the word. And always be grateful for His grace upon your life.
