MY ULOGS DIARY #1: Shining Thursday! #ULOG

Wow!!! What a great community, I appreciate @surpassinggoogle for this great opportunity, though a rare privilege, for providing a very unique platform where we can share our life stories, events that has made our lives experience turnaround and above all making us believe that there is so much more we can do or become, meaning, the sky is not our limit but our starting point, and we must therefore usher ourselves into a world of unlimited opportunities, a world where limitation does not exist except only the one you create and nurse with your mind, and that you have come subject to, but the remedy is Subdue instead of been subdued, be objective about life instead of becoming a subject.
I heard about the @Ulog tag through my friend @okojiebenjamin, who told me to explore and by so doing I can widen my horizon, because I am a man that loves to explore and by doing, I cherish lending my voice to this generation which I am part of, especially giving voice to the voiceless, to those speaking but are not heard.

Why Shining Thursday?

I know the first question on anyone's mind is why I chose this as my heading, the truth is My Life is an expression of God's love, radiance and glory, which I reveal.
Thursday is one of the days of the week, where my activities from the rising of the sun to its setting is filled with enormous tasks, responsibilities and obligations, above all its also a day that I do what i love doing most in my life regardless it brings financial fruits or not; Yes doing what i love doing I said.

I start the day by communing with the Lord, my rising is between 5:30am or 6:00am, Let me tell you that I am a lover of God, a Catholic, a student, a blogger and a potential businessman whose vision and goal in life, is to be a blessing and an answered prayer to the cries and plights of humanity. I strive daily to becoming a solution and a bringer of solutions to the problems of humanity, not been a problem to be solved.
Two things makes a Man great in life:
1. The solution(s) one is able to provide to the problems of humanity and
2. Embracing a life of incessant investment that makes up my investment portfolio, giving and promoting values and thereby becoming wealthy. To achieve this, Man must learn to delay instant gratification, for this must be earned through hard work, honesty and transparency.

I love and enjoy comfortable life, My ultimate life goal is to make the world a better place for all to live.

The reason why it's a shining day for me is because it's the only day of the week I have to myself, to explore, do what I love doing; blogging, I spend a lot of time with my phone, exploring on the internet about different offers in the world of entrepreneurship, passive and portfolio investments (real estate, stocks, shares, debentures), innovative ideas, technology advancement, and how to become a good,better and professional blogger, also, I am a financial analyst, investment analysis, that deals with project, investment cost and benefit analysis for a viable investment; project evaluation is ma thing, I also delve into motivational speaking, public speaking at a full scale, once i have the opportunity and the desired platform.

My Course of Study, is Finance, Banking and Entrepreneurship, this had changed my mindset, my ideology and philosophy of life, it has opened me up to realising that my opinion about myself matters and not what people say about me. Two things also determines where between where a man is and will be in the future:
1. The kind of people around him, his choice of friends and those he interacts with has great influence upon is life;his present and future.
2. The kind of things he feeds his mind; this means, intellectual capacity, which drives and determines his competence, man must strive for knowledge, he must be unsatisfied and must not settle for less, mediocrity, or ignorance. A man with a poor or poverty mindset is difficult to change, because he is short sighted, he doesn't and wouldn't know how to look at the big picture.

So, choose your friends wisely, and detest mediocrity, strive for knowledge and competence, never stop improving on yourself, but continue to become better with yourself. This is what I have encouraged people all my life and that I am doing till date. Encourage, motivate and believe in yourself, that no one can stop you except yourself.
Above all, discover, ensure and know that you are operating in your time zone, don't be so hard on yourself if you feel some persons have gone ahead of you or thought you have been left behind in life, No! It's never late and you are always on time, because God us never late and He is always on time, because He never fails anyone I know, He is always on time.

I will going for evening Mass today by 6pm, for it's an Holy day of obligation for us as Catholics to attend the Holy Mass, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension of Christ into Heaven, which brought about the descends of the Holy Spirit on us Christians and the Church, like Christ promised where we become and continue to be witnesses and that we continue to preach the Gospel, the light we have received,thereby taking delight and fulfilling the will of God, for only in them do we obtain eternal life and promises.

My dear friends, Thursday is not a day for us to begin to feel bad,or regrets the things we couldn't do last week or haven't done since the beginning of the week, it is a day for you to get up now, and get out now to explore just like me and tap into the untapped opportunities, take a break, go on adventure, visit an amusement park, close the deal today if you are a marketer, or sales man/woman, forget about the pains of yesterday, review your plans, do not be so quick at change your goals, but you can change your plans only when you must have constructively, objectively and critically analysed the need for change, itemise why the deal didn't go through, itemise why you were not given the contract, review your proposals, always ensure that your content be rock solid and your packaging be a wow!!!

Give time daily for meditation, critical thinking for Socrates said: "An unexamined life, is not worth living", but always remember that you have a worth, you have something to live for, for I have, I have a purpose, i have a dream, a vision and a goal, and I have never and will never stop working towards achieving them. When there is life, certainly there is Hope!.

I am also a Chorister, an amateur pianist, striving to improve, a choreographer, a music composer,an article writer, and a lover of stage drama and acting. All these gives me unstoppable and unshakeable joy.
