Preparation of fororo
Greetings friends, today I want to show you the preparation of a delicious cup of fororo. Always present in the Venezuelan tables, the fororo, toasted cornmeal, constitutes a healthy food that is consumed cold or hot, can nourish the smallest according to the tradition of our grandparents, serves as a single and simple dish for breakfast or dinner.
Fororo
To obtain this "fororo" powder, corn grains, white or yellow, are selected, they are placed in a pan to roast, to have the characteristic golden color they are ground until it turns into powder. It is also ready in supermarkets for greater ease.
How to prepare the fororo?
For the preparation, I will show you how to make a delicious atoll of fororo.
Ingredients:
1 Liter of milk.
6 Scoops of fororo.
Sugar, cloves and cinnamon to taste.
Preparation
To dissolve in the milk, the 7 spoonfuls of fororo, to add sugar, nails and cinnamon, to mix well with a beater.
Place to simmer, stir until boiling.
