North and South Korea as One!

North Korea, a communist country, is now opening its doors to its sister country, South Korea. I’m not really updated with the details of the said news but this is really exciting and a relief that we’ll finally see Korea as one nation. North Korea has always been a threat to South Korea because of their nuclear weapons and massive army of soldiers. They have very strict laws inside their borders and people are not very well taken care of. Refugees who have escaped from North Korea have shared their painful experiences from their homeland and is hoping to take refuge to their sister country South Korea. I really am looking forward to North Korea and South Korea’s unification. Hopefully, we’ll see Korea as one.

Recently, both the head of the countries have met around the border of South Korea. This is a great sign of hope for both countries to be one again. Can you imagine having one Korea? You will now be able to visit Pyeongyang, North Korea’s capital. It’s not just South Korea that is threatened by the heavy forces of North Korea but the whole world. It’s scary to think that there’s one country who is potentially capable of starting a world war with our technology so advanced. Before it was bombs and airplanes and guns. Now, as we have evolved, the technology and advanced science did too. South Korea has a rule of having every men of their nation join the army and serve for two years. This is to train them in case of a battle between the two sister countries. It’s hard to think what the South Koreans are feeling when any moment, North Korea can wage war on them. But now, I’m really glad and happy that both are starting to have a clean slate. Hopefully, as the treaties and meetings between two nations are growing, the world will too. Other countries, despite having different cultures, races, and religion, we can have peace with everyone and stop any war that breaks peace.
