Amazing Adjustments in my Life since I joined Steemit

Hello steemians! hope y'all been having a good time with friends and family this season, I'm sure we've spread the gospel of steemit to newer territory this year, we'll keep growing stronger with every passing second!

I joined steemit around the 2nd week of December and since then, life's been cooler really.

Truth be told I didn't have much interest in the social media. Thoughts of insincerity by persons online always clouded my interest. But Being a steemian so far, I have noticed that the platform encourages sincerity and freedom of expression and thoughts.

Steemit has since helped me engage my mind into bringing forth new ideas in forms of stories, controversial topics, poems and so on.

Really this network has been a wonderful practice ground for expression of thought by an introvert like my person.

I usually used to always shy from expressing my opinion on issues that affect my environment but steemit has helped built my confidence and esteem. The network is really structured to be helpful to everyone; both priveleged and less priveleged.

Confidence: There's no one who doesn't feel good when appreciated for doing something no matter how small, here on steemit our joy becomes complete when people comment, commend and upvote our writeups, even when we know it isnt flawless. Everyone on steemit wants the other person to grow.....there's this love in the air especially towards newbies that is so gratifying and uplifting that with time the person's confidence has no other option but to improve.
Freedom of expression: Now with this confidence gained one gets energized to speak! You don't get to rest until you've shared your wonderful or even sad experience with others, whenever you learn a new thing you're eager to write about it. And steemit isn't limited to just writing! You're free to post pictures, gifs and even stream videos via dtube. No one criticizes your content, you get to inform people about your amazing discoveries and experiences, you are free to air your opinion on just about everything that goes on around you and most importantly, you add value to people's lives with information!

Discovery and education: There are over a million steemians worldwide, all fired and passionate about contributing to this community, what do you think will be the result of it all?....... a boundless ocean of knowledge teeming to be navigated by fellow steemians in their little boats (accounts)! So what are you waiting for!........ there are tons of new fish to be discovered, why not grab a gigantic net and get to work!

Financial freedom: Who says making money must involve toil and sweat! quite the contrary. Here on steemit making money is sooooo much fun! Contests with mouthwatering prizes are always plentiful and this is separate from payout gained through upvotes, not to mention curation rewards for valid comments to people's posts. Steemit gives us a chance to earn an equivalent of all the time we spend on the screen! as compared to all other social media that gain money from you instead.

There's sooo much more to steemit!
Pull out of your comfort zone and STEEM!!!!
