Halichoeres Argus: Labayan Fish Paksiw

Greetings of happiness steem buddies! Today, I offer you this fish paksiw or "inun-unang isda labayan!" This fish is known as "halichoeres argus" that is famous of its distinct taste! This is widely consume by most since this fish is good for the body. The bisayan name of the fish is called "Labayan" which means to pass by! It is one of the common belief by Cebuanos especially for those new couple to have and eat this fish when they first stay as couple in there new house because of the common belief that no diseases or illnesses will incure upon them if they will eat this first as a "palihi" as married couple living in a new house.

For me, this is not any belief I am eating this fish today with kamias as my sour base ingredient, no vinegars added plus a blend of tomatoes, onions, chili pepper, spring onions added with salt and pepper to taste! This is one healthy food breakfast steem buddies...So Tara.. Lets eat and enjoy! Super thanks and more power!
