US Secretary of State Alexander Miller received the US Senate's approval as the ambassador to Bangladesh. This information has been made from the US Embassy in Dhaka on Saturday (October 13th).

The US Embassy in Dhaka says, the Senate has approved the Senate's approval as the US Ambassador to Dhaka, Robert Robert Miller. But before presenting the credentials to the President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid, he will have to make an oath of office as an ambassador.

Note that as the new Ambassador of the United States, Earl Robert Miller has already announced the name of President Donald Trump.

Currently he is serving as US Ambassador to Botswana in the African country. Miller will replace US ambassador to Dhaka, Marsha Barnicut.

Earl Miller was the Consul General in the US consulate in Johannesburg, South Africa, before serving as US Ambassador to Botswana. He has worked in Washington, San Francisco, Miami and Boston for the United States government.

Miller also served in different positions in the US embassy in India, Iraq, Malaysia, Indonesia and El Salvador.
