OroCommerce is a B2B eCommerce Platform letting you build you online platform for your products, services and the purchase of them.

With OroCommerce, you may build your own online platform with Out-of-the-box features like CRM, ERP, order management, Product Information Management and other applications.

E-commerce is not a “new” business media anymore. It is becoming more and more common and save a lot of manpower. I am happy to translate this project as it is a great platform of E-commerce and I got the chance to contribute.

I translate the project from English to Traditional Chinese.

I have been translating in Crowdin for months and finished the translation of the Fundition project. Studying Electronic Engineering in University, I am familiar with website language and it was a fun job for me. A challenge point is that the words to be translated is not presented in paragraph form but in point form. I could not get the best translation easily from the meaning of the whole paragraph. Luckily, my background language gave me the sense and knowledge to provide a good translation to it.

In this report I translated the “OroTaxBundle” Section and "OroUPSBundle. The OroTaxBundle is all about tax but the terms are not specific so I can finish it easily without difficulty. And for the OroUPSBundle, the content of UPS is quite new for me but the words are not specific again. And I learnt quite a lot about UPS.

But at times, short strings could be a challenge too, as there is not much context to properly understand the exact meaning of the words.

In your translation, some terms may not be 100% familiar in Chinese and you have included the English with brackets. This is commendable as it would avoid wrong understanding. For example, UPS = "聯合包裹公司(UPS)".
