About the 2nd bug - I was able to reproduce the bug on my devices.
Unfortunayely, it seems this issue has been reported already, and it appeas to be an issue since at least version 1.5.1 of the app

Utopian rewards only original content, and in the case of bugs, only newly reported ones. It is recommended that you search a repositories issues for your proposed bug report, before submitting a post to Utopian.

The first bug doesn't seem like a bug but rather as intended behavior. That's why there's a photo viewer button - to open the images in the post, since there is no long press action, and if no link is inserted via markdown, clicking the image shouldn't do anything, like images with no link behave on steemit
