In my opinion, there is no need to put the logo design on orange circle. You created the icon kind of a mascot and it can work as well.

Is it wrong to put it inside an orange circle to make it a circular logo? I think not. It is your opinion and I respect it but come on. You say that this is open for improvement? how about this design that struggles in small sizes? https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@chimzycash/my-logo-design-for-mue how about some consistency also in moderating. That is my opinion also.
