Hi @lostmine27, very interesting findings! A bot delegation retention rate of 48% is quite high, especially compared to the retention rate of "active users". However, putting the latter in numbers can be pretty hard. We've seen several attempts on this before, but that's not easy. I think the fact that people hold/mined/created multiple accounts easily leads to underestimations of the "real" value. As an investor, having a separate account for delegations to bots, without voting or posting, would be a reasonable choice for me, I guess?
It is partly a bit hard to follow how you came to the numbers. Is the "~12/2017" row all delegations that happened before that date? Delegations to bots were available/active well before that date, if I remember correctly? Did you include former bid bots as well? @randowhale and @bellyrub would be two bigger bots I could think of, but I guess there are more. For the user retention rate, did I understand correctly that you compare the number of accounts voted on (=authors) with the number of accounts that voted?
