Simplenote for Android Needs Improvement by Introducing "Pencil Tool" for Users.

Simplenote for android is an easy way to keep notes, lists, ideas and more. It is an open source application and I propose to add a "pencil tool" feature for advanced user experience.

Proposal

I propose for the developers of Simplenote to introduce "pencil tool" feature on the application. This is an important feature on any note. "Pencil tool" feature is a free hand tool for professional design used for drawing, can also be used for writing instead of typing. Introducing this tool should enable users sketch out images, write, erase and add shapes to their notes. It makes work easy to draw and make curves with the free hand sketch tool.

Mockups / Examples

This feature should be made in a way that when the "pencil tool" is clicked on, it displays other options. That is the pencil, eraser and the different shape options like the below example.

Benefits

With the availability of "pencil tool" feature on Simplenote for android, users will be able to sketch out their desired image, write notes and add shapes to their notes.

• Users will get maximum satisfaction if the feature is introduced because most notes are still lacking this feature.
