This project aims to provide a perfect and accurate translation for the Gridcoin Whitepaper. As already mentioned in the whitepaper, Gridcoin can be defined as:

“an open-source blockchain that mints and distributes cryptocurrency in relation to the processing power a network participant directs toward data-driven analysis and scientific discovery. Currently, the Gridcoin blockchain is secured through a proof-of-stake protocol and monitors processing contributions to the distributed computing infrastructure, BOINC.¹ BOINC, the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing, hosts major institutional computing projects such as IBM’s World Community Grid,² SETI,³ and data from the Large Hadron Collider,⁴ alongside projects developed by students, enthusiasts, mathematicians, researchers, and citizen scientists.”

This contribution represents my last segment to the Gridcoin project for the current version (1.0.0) because I was contacted by the Gridcoin community and was told that there is now the second version of whitepaper (1.0.1) that needs to be translated. After doing the proper modification on the MD file, I will add the second version to the project which only includes a few and minor modifications to the original version. The translation was a bit tricky since the whitepaper included many aspects of how the Gridcoin ecosystem works. In addition, I made many modifications as I already did for the first contribution just to keep a clear text format. However, I find this second part to be a bit more difficult for people or a lambada person to really understand. Thus, I will try below, and as already suggested by the language moderator, to present a small explanation in Arabic for a few terms and concepts.

The Gridcoin whitepaper can be daunting and really hard for some people because it contains many concepts that need a decent familiarity with the blockchain technology, and how BOINC really works. Thus, I believe that people who have an intrinsic will to be part of the Gridcoin community will have to really embrace the blockchain phenomena. While working on this project was really pleasurable and energizing for me, I may admit, in the other hand, that the lack of spatialized terminology in the Arabic language can be very difficult sometimes to overcome. Perhaps becoming fully familiar with the Gridcoin ecosystem requires more from the end user than just a regular project. The main reason behind this could be the versatility of the project in addition to a strong interconnection with many other projects which a good thing in my opinion. Gridcoin is deeply involved in scientific research and discovery the thing that can reflect a high level of complexity for a simple user to understand. Nonetheless, people don’t need to understand the whole specs of the project to be part of since the whitepaper is also written for the future investors, developers, and so forth. Without further ado, below is a simple table that contains intel that I believe can help people who are curious about the Gridcoin project.
