Utopian-io Bot Analysis : Top 10 Contributors - Steemit Business Intelligence

As per latest post from @utopian-io, the version 2.0 of the bot will only be officially used from here on, as such I removed the "v2.0" from the title.

This is the analysis of the voting results of @utopian-io prior to this announcement.

Before looking into the details, we will first look from which application the contributions came from, which categories had the most number of contributions, the average number of votes each category received, the Github projects that benefited most from the contributions, and then lastly the top contributors.

1. Scope of Analysis

• Posts were acquired on Nov. 18, 2017 0207H UTC using steemsql by @arcange.
• There were a total of 168 contributions made by 117 accounts.
• Contributions were spread across 68 repositories.
• Data extracted was from 2017-11-16 1858H UTC to 2017-11-17 1539H UTC.

2. Posts By App

There were only two applications used to post contributions - steemit.com and utopian.io.

132 contributions (79%) were made through the utopian site, and the remaining 36 contributions (21%) were made through steemit.com.

3. Contributions Per Category

From the left image, the top 3 categories were ideas, tutorials, and translations.
On the right, the top 3 categories were ideas, tutorials, and development.

Translations slipped down to 5th place, overtaken by development and blog.

Let's look at the most contributed on projects.

utopian-io has overtaken steemit.com with 29 contributions. steemit.com (github repository steemit/condenser) slipped to second with 28 contributions. Followed by Zappl/Zappl with 6 contributions. The "null" project here were from blog contributions and those that were from steemit.com.

6. Average Vote Count Per Category

We can see here that the null category again appears with 329 votes. The post came from @elear:

8.1. Top Total Vote Receivers

Let's now see who the top receivers were.

We can see here that the top total vote receiver was @scipio with a gross of $185.13. Breaking this down into curation, beneficiary, and net author rewards will give us:

• $46.28 curation reward
• $27.77 beneficiary reward
• $111.08 net author reward
