The problem here is that the app crashed and not that the music stopped when you clicked exit. Exit like the name implies should completely revoke your access to the application's features, including stopping the song on deck. But you can always minimise to the background using the back button

I can see the PO is in line with this thought. The crash is unexpected. I appreciate the effort of providing a logcat. However, it is impossible to spot the cause by following the trace. I am afraid there is no meaningful information regarding the cause of the crash.
