Well, I'm sorry to say, but I think that your launcher does not support this particular feature. If you want to have the lock screen art cover, I suggest you try a new launcher or a different lock screen app.

Android 7.1 also does not work
It's not all screen locks that support album art display, also it is not all app launchers that support this functionality. You'll need to get a different lock app to test this with.
