I see the PO has established this behavior as a bug and effectively tagged it so. Hopefully, there is a fix in the works.

Do you know that analyzing what possibly led to the bug can greatly increase your review score? For instance, you could have helped answer questions like - why the table reflects in the preview before posting but not in the published post.

Why does it reflect at all in the preview? Could it be that the code to render the markdown in the post's page is missing?

Also, you can propose a possible fix and make a pull request :) Saves the PO the time and also scores you some extra points ;)
