I was able to observe this same behavior. The estimated value is not consistent with what is on the steemit.com frontend. This is particularly strange and may be of importance to some of the users who may want to know their account's worth.

I like the very precise manner in which you explained the expected and actual behaviors. It makes for an easy read.

I also observed that you made an attempt at analysing what possibly led to the error in the estimate. Kudos on that, it was simple enough
