Day 4 Campaign: Marketing Utopian on Facebook
Day 4 marketing campaign on Facebook for Utopian. Let's keep this growth going and get more people excited about open source!
—The first Utopian Facebook campaign had ran for almost 72 hours..We also started a 2nd. campaign last Monday. I've worked out a full strategy on how I will be building up momentum on this front. This includes a plan to create around five different campaigns, targeting a number of different countries and testing different ad copy.
After running those campaigns for 3 days and gathering data. I paused them and created a brand new one that is much more targeted and already bringing in great results!
Here's a closer look at the demographics of the audience for this particular campaign:
The quick numbers add up to that we've shown this brand new ad to over 8600 people to this ad about Utopian, and generated over 6000 actions to a specifically chosen Steemit post all about Utopian.
So in 24 hours we have generated over 6000 actions. And reached over 8600 people on Facebook, in total,with this new targeted ad.
Account creation will soon be available on Utopian.io, and when that's all ready to go, we'll begin driving traffic directly to the site to help them get started with the project. I love this sort of marketing work, and am excited to see how open source will change the Steem landscape for the better. Celebrating contributions created for all to use and innovate with by rewarding them with Steem is an exciting chance to give everyone a chance to share their work, and to develop technology for the people, by the people.

I fell off by the wayside years ago about all of this technology coding stuff, but I still get the gist of it and appreciate it. This reminds me of growing up to 5 or 6 years old in one language, but getting immersed into another, then forgetting your original one.
In this you'd still feel some connection, some things still feel familiar, but you continue to appreciate it. This is how I feel about it .
