The new icon design will make it more popular and understood / recognizable by app users, so I recommend this icon by using the shapes of the world's fastest and fastest animal spheres in the world.
Tools
To design the icon, I use autocad and adobe illustrator applications. why i use autocad application, maybe this is slightly different from other designer. In my opinion, the autocad application is easy to use to find the logo icon pattern shape.
For skin icon process, I use adobe illustrator application which is more familiar among graphic design.

Based on your presentation, I assumed you are designing a logo for a browser program. But, Browser Dispatcher in fact is not a browser program, it is a program that decides which browser to use when you click on a link outside of your web browser
So, there is no relation between springbok head with the program itself.
