Overview
The concept of open source software goes beyond making source codes open to other people. It also provides a medium for collaborative development of a single project, by other individuals(who are called contributors). Anyone can contribute to an open source project, but not every kind of contribution is accepted. That's why it is necessary to have a contributors guideline to inform prospective contributors on how to make acceptable contributions. The contributor's guideline can also spur individuals to contribute to a project.

Thank you for your contribution. The fact that the PO does not really want to receive contributions makes this guide quite less valuable than it could be. There is also a thing with the way you order your sentences inside each paragraph that sometimes really doesn't add to the readability of the text (The first paragraph is a huge example of this).
