Hi, @edicted. First, I must commend you for putting a lot of effort into analyzing and providing a very detailed idea contribution like this one. This is really thorough and I love it. The Steem blockchain has a lot of potential in it, but it is sad that we have only a few intelligent blockchain devs on the Steem community. Even without steemit inc releasing SMT, one could easily create a unique digital asset using custom_JSON which I believe some projects on the blockchain is already using. I like that you are proposing a better way of utilizing RCs by turning it into a unique and scarce asset, while I believe that this could be a disadvantage to new users (Since they have few SP) I affirm that it would also cause the value of the Steem token itself to rise and in fact the quality of post submitted. But IMO, except there is a centralized way of monitoring quality post on the blockchain, there is still no 100% solution to how we could reduce spam and abuse. But this metric (captcha) could be used to reduce the use of definitely reduce the use of bots on the blockchain.
